Western Harnett JROTC Motor Pool

Perhaps one of the most unique aspects of the Eagle Battalion is our Motor Pool.  The Battalion gets old military vehicles from different eras and then members of the Motor Pool go to work.  The cadets rebuild and restore these vehicles from the ground up,  giving up a great deal of their free time during the holidays and weekends to make these vehicles almost as good as new.  The vehicles are then used in events such as parades and ceremonies.  They are driven by cadets in uniforms from the appropriate time in America's military history.

At the present time, the Battalion has a 1953 M-38A1 from the Korean/Vietnam War eras (shown above), an M-37 from the Korean/Vietnam Wars, a 1944 MB (World War II), and a 1972 M-151A2, from the Vietnam War and other small conflicts (like Grenada).
