Chapter 27 -
Population Growth
- What
Is Population Ecology?
- The discipline of population ecology
and how it relates to the other subdisciplines in ecology and other fields
in biology is described in this link. The various disciplines in ecology are
described and the relationships are shown graphically. There is also a
graphic showing how population characteristics and processes are derived
from the characteristics and processes of individuals. This graphic is a
good visual representation of the nature of population ecology.
- Predator/Prey

different mappings of predator/prey simulation.
- Predator/Prey

- The
Demographic Transition
